NPRS library help to prepare students to live and learn in a world of information. The mission of school library is to ensure that students and staff are able to use ideas and information. Our library provide access to materials in all formats. It helps increase students' interest in reading, viewing, and using information and ideas. Research shows that our school library with the right staffing, funding, and a rich collection of books has a positive impact on students. The school library provides information and ideas that are fundamental to functioning successfully in today's information and knowledge-based society. The school library equips students with life-long learning skills and develops the imagination, enabling them to live as responsible citizens. The variety of section ranging from reference, general knowledge, encyclopedias , dictionaries, subject sections, story books and novels, literature and new arrivals are a way to provide contents as per users need.

Mission

The Library provides a welcoming learning environment for students and staff; supports the school's aims and curriculum; encourages the love of reading and the development of students' independent learning skills.

Opening Hours

The library is open every school day from 10 a.m. to 04 p.m.

Library Periods

According to the school time table, the students of all the Classes can visit the library for the issue and return of the books during their library periods. They can read reference books, periodicals,newspaper and also participate in library activities.

Borrowing information

Students 01 book for a period of 01 week
Faculty and staff
Maximum 05 books for a period of 01 month.
The users should submit their ID cards for the automated circulation of books.

Open Access and Classification

The library follows an open access system. The books are classified and shelved according to subjects. Library AutomationThe stock and services of the library has been automated with school erp, an Integrated Management software.

We help our students and staffs keeping themselves updated with latest magazines and newspaper.At present we are providing newspapers in three different languages i.e,hindi,English,Bengali. And a variety of magazines.
